Money ASAP: P2P, ACH, Remittance & the Future of Real-Time Payments

Session Description:

In today’s digitally-driven society, everyone and everything is becoming connected, which is transforming the way we interact … and now transact. While technology has made our lives easier in so many new ways, it has also created an expectation that we should be able to safely and instantly send money to friends and family, settle bills, transfer money and get paid. This is an expectation the payment industry must now meet. This session will explore the growth – and future – of “real-time” payment options, what it means for traditional payment methods predominantly used today, and whether the payments industry is ready for this shift to immediate payment technologies beyond cash.

  • Eric Woodward, Group President, Risk Solutions, Early Warning
  • Karen Webster, CEO,
  • Cheryl Guerin, EVP of Global Products and Services, North America, Mastercard
